AI is the new buzzword of the 21st century and has been commonly adopted in all aspects of daily life.  From robotic vacuum cleaners, washing machines, self-driving cars to customer service centres etc., AI plays an important role in productivity and cost efficiency. One of our proud achievement is a Patrol and Traffic Enforcement Robot (PETER) at Jewel Changi Airport.  Not only PETER helps to detect vehicles that flout the no parking and waiting rules; it is also armed with wide-screen LCD displays and speakers to warn offenders to leave the restricted zone. PETER is also connected to the Jewel Smart Operations Centre via live video streaming so as to facilitate real time monitoring. It can also be further enhanced and programmed to read carplates and send the information to respective authority for further action.

iInnovations was also involved in the co-creation of Newton’s Meter i.e. a personal safety device that employs AI technology to alert family and/or pre-programmed contacts, in situation of emergency whereby user becomes incapacitated.

One of our other innovation involved a mobile application designed for quality control. This application transforms images into information and together with object recognition, enables housekeepers to perform self-assessment in their daily cleaning routines. The application makes comparison between pre-defined standards against performance to facilitate instant corrections where necessary. The application is also capable of performing counting of items that can be integrated with ERP system.
